The event is going to be fun, fabulous and you’ll walk away armed with great image and media ideas for yourself and your business. There are just a few spots left — come play with us!

Sunday Brunch at the Grand America Hotel
This weekend, I had the pleasure of being treated to Sunday Brunch with four other magnificent women at the Grand America Hotel. If you’ve ever been to the Grand America, you know it was an event to remember! The food, of course, was unbelievable!
During our delightful meal, we had the treat of having a live band providing wonderful background music. I recognized the songs they were playing but had to concentrate hard to place them. Would you believe this trio, dressed to the nines, was playing the likes of Kanye West, Coldplay and Oasis at Sunday Brunch at the Grand America Hotel? As unexpected as that might be, we agreed we could have listened to their music all day!
Here is the Joshua Payne Orchestra, all in sharp matching suits, playing songs you would never expect to hear at Sunday Brunch at the Grand America.
Should you have the opportunity to take in Sunday Brunch at the Grand America Hotel, I would highly recommend it. You’ll definitely enjoy the music.

ModBe Sale – September 2, 3, 4
This morning on the Utah Deal Diva blog, I found some great news! If you live in Utah and want a great deal on clothes, ModBe has just moved locations and has an amazing sale on their samples, discontinued and slightly damaged products.
The sale is happening September 2, 3, 4 at their new location at 1499 W 105 N in Orem, Utah. Apparently the Google Maps directions are incorrect, but one of the Utah Deal Diva’s readers, Liz, said if you take Center Street in Orem west and turn right at Standard Plumbing Supply, you’ll find it.
Happy shopping, ladies!

Sneak Peak at Shade Clothing’s Fall ’09 Collection
Here’s a behind the scenes look at the photo shoot for Shade Clothing’s upcoming Fall Collection! They shot at a charming farm in Midway, Utah, with lots of fun farm animals and an edgy, rustic look that I love. Check it out!
A baby cow and yellow boots make for perfect fall accessories, don’t you think?
Kenneth, Shade Clothing’s hair stylist, helping achieve the perfect lighting for the shot.
One of Shade Clothing’s models at an antique shop. Doesn’t this top look like something you would totally snuggle up in when the weather gets colder?
Loving the sage green shade green on this dress. Definitely something I’d feed cows wearing
Trying to achieve the perfect lighting for the shot! This ensemble is probably my favorite look so far! Skinny belts are an incredible accessory for highlighting a lovely waistline.
Meet the woman behind the camera, Angela Kohler, Shade Clothing’s photographer.
The final shot at the Shade Clothing Fall Collection photo shoot – it’s a wrap! To see the entire photo shoot, click here to go to to the Shade Clothing blog.
So what do you think? Are you stoked for Shade Clothing’s Fall ’09 Collection? Which outfit jumped out at you?

Wedding Wednesday: Kristen
Each Wednesday, Cable Car Couture will feature another beautiful bride and her modest wedding dress. Kristen will be our first featured bride.
Kristen married Cameron in April 2008 at the Salt Lake City temple. She wore a Casablance gown purchased from Mary’s Bridal in Salt Lake City, UT. Her Casablance gown had lovely rouching and boning, very flattering to the waist, with intricate beading and an elegant row of buttons down the back. While the dress was originally strapless, Mary’s Bridal took her exact measurements and Casablance customized the gown to be adjusted to her taste. The measurements were so precise that whent he dress arrived months later, it fit perfectly.
Prior to the alterations, the Casablance gown was $600. After the customizations and rush order, it was approximately $1100.
Kristen’s photographs were taken by the award winning Swenson Photography.
