Even though she didn’t win best actress, Glenn Close was a red carpet winner in this custom Zac Posen gown. The matching tuxedo jacket gives her a terrific air of authority.

All in all, there weren’t too many ornate gowns or accessories. This year seemed to be all about how less is more.
