Mixed prints have been all the rage for a few seasons and it always poses a good challenge to make it work. The rule of thumb is to choose pieces that share a color scheme, like this polka dot blouse and striped floral pants. (More on mixed prints here.)
Back in the sixth grade (or grade 6, as we like to call it in Canada) I had a spunky Asian homeroom teacher that taught me calligraphy. To this day I remember her signature look — palazzo pants with a sleeveless collared button-up shirt. This woman had spunk and style and today’s outfit is incredibly reminiscent of her.
I can safely say that these palazzo pants are the most comfortable pants that I own. There’s plenty of room to move and the wide leg pant provides plenty of air flow for these hot summer days. If you don’t own a pair, I’d seriously consider picking one up!Earrings: Catbird | Shirt: clothing swap / Maxmara | Pants: Nordstrom Rack | Watch: Fossil | Shoes: Macy
