Daily Outfit: Move Over, Pastels! Make Way for Colorblocking

We spent this Easter in Vancouver with my family and while traditionally people wear pastels for this spring holiday, I was having none of that. Out with pastels, in with colorblocking!

Outfit Breakdown

  • Sunglasses – Nordstrom
  • Earrings – Francsca’s (also worn here)
  • Red dress – Shabby Apple (also worn here)
  • Red belt – modbod
  • Gold watch – Fossil
  • Chevron nails – Jamberry Nails (check out our Jamberry Nails giveaway!)
  • Teal ruffle skirt – Downeast Basics (also worn here)

You’ve gotta ged a closer look at these nails!

Of course, just because I’m not wearing pastels doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate chocolate wrapped in pastels…

This outfit makes me sad that I sold that dress. I never even thought to use it as a top, for some reason (I do it with other dresses! Hello!). Gorgeous!

  2. That\’s more than one piece in our closets we\’ve had in common! Do you sell your pieces through eBay?

Yeah, the thought never occurred to me either, until I was away from my closet and wanting to wear something fresh and new. It\’s amazing how new ideas can come! Thanks, Kayla :)

  3. Gorgeous color combination! And I love that belt and those fabulous nails.

(Love your blog too! I'm a new follower!).
