Perhaps it’s just my mood but lately I’ve been wearing a lot of grey. A lot. And I’ve been loving it.
[Recently my camera fell on the ground and the lens has been having a hard time auto focusing, so forgive the slightly out of focus images.]
This outfit had been inspired by something I saw on Pinterest that I can’t find anywhere so here’s the next best thing from Cupcakes and Cashmere.

The grey and black have a very striking look to it here. I like it. Color can be so fun, but there is something to be said for muted tones.
you look gorgeous! this outfit makes your haircut really POP!

Thanks, Jess. Agreed, as wonderful as color is, sometimes the best statement you\’re trying to make comes through monochromatic color schemes.
Thanks for the style love, Nikki! Even though I\’ve had this dress for ages, it\’s always a treat to discover new ways to wear it. Great to reconnect with another style blogger!

Yours is an excellent goal, Annette! I realized after I left Vancouver that I had a TON of black and over the last few years have acquired far more color (living in the southwest for several years helps). Good luck with your color acquisition!

Beautiful! I love this look – it's the perfect mix of bohemian and classic.
Isn’t That Charming.
I'm loving all the gray too, and that is such a pretty scarf!

I love this look you have here with the Gray/Black..very chic.
ooOOo. I am VERY much a fan of long skirts and the chunky sweaters. I went thrifting yesterday and I was specifically looking for sweaters like the ones listed in Emily Schuman's collage, but came up empty handed. It's so funny that you posted this! Your scarf (and hairstyle) seem to work perfectly with your outfit. Love it!
Thanks for linking up on my blog, too!!

Thanks for the style love, Chandra! That\’s the bummer about shopping at a thrift store with something specific in mind — you don\’t always find it! Have you checked Etsy?

So kind of you to say so, Annie! I do love a scarf with a good print on it. Thanks for stopping by — your blog is so fun!
Thank you sweet Emily! Bohemian and classic is a great style description.
